Profile

Tobi Sho-Silva is an accomplished forward for Maidenhead United. Known for his versatility and goal-scoring prowess, Tobi has played for various clubs, including Charlton Athletic, Bromley, Halifax, Sutton United and Carlisle United, winning multiple promotions throughout his career thus far. His dynamic playing style and ability to adapt to different tactical setups make him a valuable asset on the field.

Youth Career

After being scouted from his local grassroots club, he developed his skills coming through the youth academy ranks at Charlton Athletic, gaining a solid foundation in football.

International Experience

Represented England at U18 level, being able to showcase his skills on an international stage. Interestingly enough also represented England at Triple Jump in the Junior ranks.

Professional Career

Tobi has played for numerous clubs such as Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Bromley, Halifax, Sutton United and Carlisle United. At Sutton United, he made his EFL debut at 26 after being an instrumental part of the team that won the National League in the 2020-2021 season before being bought by Carlisle United on an undisclosed fee, where he went on to be part of their Play-off promotion winning team in the 2022-2023 season.

Beyond Football...

F3 Football

Tobi is a founder and director of F3, a charity that supports professional footballers with their faith and promotes positive impact and sustainable development in communities. He has organised numerous football events working with footballers across the globe with the goal of utilising the power of football to bring about lasting change.

Collaborations

Amongst many things, Tobi works closely with the League Football Education (LFE) and the English Football League (EFL) in supporting the holistic development of young professional footballers mainly through mentoring, delivering workshops and public speaking.

Education

Alongside his professional career as a player, Tobi holds a BA Hons in Business Management, level 3 in Counselling, corporate governance qualifications, football coaching experiences and is currently completing his Master’s degree in Sports Business, Management and Policy.
